Fellow Citizens of the Galaxy, no, fellow Citizens of the Universe. Today I, President of the United States of the Galaxy, join you here on Pluto to celebrate the opening of the new colony on Pluto. It is a special moment for all of us, as this is an important step in our vision of colonizing space. It is vision that started over 150 years ago, when the President of the United States, George W. Bush, stated that he wanted to establish a “moon base”. Though the idea was ridiculed, the next President, Barack Obama came along and said, “Yes, We Can”. That vision caused many nations to seek peace with each other so that we could together pursue this ambitious goal. They said we could not colonize the moon, but humanity found the strength to say “yes we can”. It was thought impossible to colonize mars, but with the advent of faster space travel we found a new way to say “Yes we can”. From there lofty goals were set to colonize the moons of the gas giants, using the Mars colony as a base we were able to once again say, “yes we can”.Now today we open the new colony on Pluto, and we are able to say that we have reached goals that no one thought possible. We can proudly say, “Yes, we did” colonize the whole solar system.
What has enabled us to reach this goal, and what will still propel us forward? The human spirit, which can never be crushed. We constantly find new ways to reach our goals. We constantly reach forward. We continue to reach for the stars. It will be this drive that sends us forward to continue to explore and colonize the rest of the galaxy!
So today, join with me in celebrating the opening of the new human colony on Pluto. Join with me in celebrating the completion of the vision of colonizing our solar system, and the beginning of our new vision to colonize the whole of the galaxy. Thank you, and good day.
Now for questions from the media...

Mister President! Mister President!
What are your plans for the recent surge in Space Pirates? Do you have any plans on how to combat them?
That's pretty good! It makes me wonder if what it would be like to move to a different planet, rather than a different town, state, or country. That would be a change!
Haha, nice. I had a peer who gave an "I just won the national spelling bee" speech. It was pretty amazing.
